To decide whether a person is ignorant or not, we need at least to see whether he or she understands the law of karma, and whether he or she is deeply convinced of the law of cause and effect, and if he or she possesses the wisdom of knowing what to accept and what to abandon as well.

因果の法則を心得て、深く信じているかどうか、
取捨選択の知恵を具有しているかどうかで見極める。
Um zu erkennen, ob jemand unwissend ist oder nicht, müssen wir wenigstens erfahren, ob er oder sie das karmische Prinzip versteht, ob er oder sie tief von dem Gesetz von Ursache und Wirkung überzeugt ist, und ob er oder sie die Weisheit besitzt zu wissen, was es anzunehmen und aufzugeben gilt.
